I am sure you have come across pop-ups, pop-unders, fly-in ads (whatever you call them) countless times on the internet.
The fact that almost every ISP has provided pop-up blockers shows how much impact “pop-ups” have had in marketing. Yes, they can get annoying which is why they had to be blocked.
Then marketers devised pop-ups that could not be blocked. Today, at least 80% of web sites out there have some pop-up in one form or the other. Because they deliver results:
- They are attention getters
- They deliver more subscriptions
- They deliver more sales
- They communicate high-impact messages more than most methods ever devised on the internet
Since I started using pop-ups about 7 years ago, my subscription rate shot up. When I started using un-blockable pop-ups (such as the one at Prospect Response), my rate of subscription more than tripled.
A lot of my sales are delivered by pop-ups offering a deal you will not find anywhere else except on the pop-up.
A new high-impact form of advertising and closing sales has recently been released. It is not a pop-up, but the web site “peels off” delivering your high-impact message. This new wave is sweeping across the internet - I am sure it’s creating a lot of profits for those who are taking advantage of it.
